Mission Statement

The mission of the Division of Victim Services is to provide victims of crime with timely information and notifications, compassionate support, and confidential services based on the principles of restorative justice and empowerment through practical assistance and referrals to community resources.

Programs and Services

At the South Carolina Department of Corrections, we try to provide tools and information to support crime victims/survivors through a range of services and restorative programs designed to offer victims a voice, promote healing and restore control in the lives of victims/survivors and others who have been affected by crime.
